After an evaluation period of two years, Microbial Cell is proud to announce that it is now indexed in Scopus, the prestigious abstract and citation database powered by Elsevier. Notably, the journal selection process is managed by an independent and international Content Selection and Advisory Board consisting of scientists and subject librarians that ensures an open and transparent content coverage policy. This also means that Microbial Cell is projected to be listed in the Scimago Journal and Country Ranking for 2020. We are looking forward to our first numerical description of our journal’s impact.
