FBPase catalytic activity was measured in native lysates of wt BY4741 strains with over-expression of wt and mutated fbp1 cassettes. Measurements were performed in triplets, and error bars represent SD. Statistical significance was determined using student t-test for each of the mutants compared to both cells with control vector and those with over-expression of the wt Fbp1p. (*) Indicates statistically relevant difference compared to empty vector and (†) compared to the wt Fbp1p.
