(A) Protein aggregation in BY4742 and mutant yeast cells. Yeast were grown in YPD to an OD600 = 0.8. Soluble and aggregated proteins were separated by SDS–PAGE and visualized by Coomassie blue staining.

(B) AGEs were visualized by silver staining.
